I have struggled with headaches, neck, and shoulder pain for years. When Dr. Sutter informed me of DTR therapy I was guarded about the immediate relief results. I decided after being in physical therapy for many years and still suffering from daily pain I had nothing to lose. After less than an hour of DTR therapy I experienced instant relief. For nearly 19 years I have struggled with migraines. I was literally hopeless, receiving pain injections for weekly, but I was always in pain. I came to Dr. Sutter to get my teeth cleaned, I never liked giving to the dentist, always having a bad experience. I choose Dr. Sutter because his ad in the phone book said he was a “gentle dentist”. When I got to his office I was met by Denise, an intake nurse! I was so surprised she went over why I was there. What I needed from my appt. and what I needed from the Dr. wow! I had never had an intake nurse at the dentist. Denise recognized right away that I may be a candidate for the TMD treatment. She immediately brought in Dr. Sutter. At that first visit I was on my way to literally a new life! After the FIRST treatment with wearing my orthotic I was headache free for 3 weeks! in my life this is a true miracle! Since then there has been a 60 percent decrease in occurrence and pain intensity. And I am only like half way through my procedure. And life is just getting better. Dr. Sutter is not only a miracle worker in my mind but he is awesome. Twice when I had a question I thought was important, he called me personally. When I came to Dr. Sutter, the right side of my jaw popped every time I opened my mouth. I felt tremendous pain and pressure from it. After a couple months of wearing my appliance, my jaw no longer pops with the appliance in! I love the staff and office and the "homelike" environment.

I was involved in a car accident where I was rear-ended while stopped at a stoplight. The first thing my doctor did was send me to six weeks of physical therapy. During those six weeks I developed severe headaches and received no relief of the pain during the treatments. I was in for a regular cleaning, where I was talking about my car accident and the subsequent headaches. Dr. Sutter told me he thought my jaw was out of alignment and that he would like to do some tests to make sure. He diagnosed me with TMD and we began some neuromuscular dental treatments. I was involved in a car accident about two months ago. After the accident I noticed my jaw started hurting and I had headaches.
